SHOEMAKER: Wendy Shoemaker passed away peacefully at home at the age of 58 years after a 2 year struggle with brain cancer. As per Wendy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date. She is survived by her loving husband, Doug, daughter, Angela, granddaughter, Teaghan, grandsons, Brayden, Zain and Jayce, her father Neil and sister Lynn. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Wendy may be made to Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, ‘Western Manitoba Cancer Centre’ 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3 or the Brandon Humane Society, 2200-17th Street East, Brandon, MB, R7A 7M6.
