HILL: Beverley Anne Hill (nee Gardiner) passed away unexpectedly at her home in Brandon, Manitoba, Tuesday, December 20, 2016. She was predeceased by her Dad, Al and grandparents. Bev is survived by her Mom Pat, sister Maxine (Garth), brothers Lorne (Myrna), Brad (Carrie) and Mark (Shannon) as well as nieces and nephews. Bev was born June 12, 1955 in Virden, Manitoba. She attended Woodnorth School, Virden Junior High and Virden Collegiate Institute. Unfortunately, Bev struggled with mental health issues for many years. In time, she moved to her own apartment and lived on her own. The last three years Bev has had health problems but kept her spirits up and continued to smile through these misfortunes. Although we, her family, will miss Bev, we are thankful she did not suffer at the end of her life. Our family thanks Penny Pangman and Tanya Allan for the many years of assistance and guidance. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba in memory of Bev. E-mail messages of condolence or sign the on-line Book of Condolences atcarscaddenfuneralchapel.com G. R. Carscadden Funeral Chapel, Virden in care of arrangements.
