MARTIN/RENTON: Deborah Lee (Debbie), beloved daughter of Tom and Jeanette (Scott) Renton passed away suddenly on January 10, 2017 at the age of 34. Debbie was born in Carberry, MB on June 9, 1982. We were living in Douglas, MB at the time. Debbie went to school in Brandon. Some of Debbies many highlights of her short life were as follows: Circle of Friends with Hiedy Blight; as a member of C.O.P.P. (Citizens on Patrol Program); she liked to work for We Care. She graduated from Neelin High School in 2001, her two uncles from Scotland were there to escort her. There are too many other highlights to mention, but she enjoyed them all. Debbie loved doing crafts, plastic canvas was one of her favorites, but she mastered any craft that she put her mind to trying. Debbie was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Christopher and Christina Renton of Scotland; her maternal grandfather W. A. (Art) Scott; and her older sister Melissa as an infant. Debbie leaves to mourn her passing, her parents Tom and Jeanette Renton; maternal grandmother Merl Scott; siblings: Sheppard Frank (Naiomi) and family, Kim (Warren) Speers and family; Christina Chris; Susan (Shaun) Reid and family; special cousin Samantha (Brad) Whittle and family, plus the rest of the extended family here and in Scotland and all her friends she ever knew. A memorial service was held January 17, 2017 at Memories Chapel. Interment will be held at Madford Cemetery at a later date.
