VICKERS: It is with profound sadness that the family announces the death of Orval "Orv" George Vickers, age 80 years, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Thursday, January 26, 2017. Orv is survived by his loving wife Gwen and daughters Linda Vickers and Brenda (Bruce) Evans and their families. The Ceremony to Celebrate Orv's Life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330 18th Street North, on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with The Rev. Jonathan Hoskin officiating. A reception will follow at Memories Chapel. The private family interment will be held prior at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Orval may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation for the Western Manitoba Cancer Centre, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 2B3 or to a charity of choice.
