SEYMOUR: Loretta Ann Seymour passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the age of 76 years. Loretta is survived by her loving husband, David; her children Traci and Will of Winnipeg, Manitoba; and her sisters Sandra (Robert) Jackson of Ancaster, Ontario and Georgina (John) Myers of Savannah, Georgia. Loretta was predeceased by her parents William and Phyllis Sobol of Brandon, Manitoba. The oldest of three children Loretta grew up in Brandon. As a young woman, she met and married David who served in the Canadian Air Force. David’s military career took them to several military bases within Canada and for a three-year tour to CFB Baden-Soellingen, Germany. David and Loretta moved back to Brandon when David retired from the military. Loretta was a loving and devoted wife and mother who enjoyed raising her two children. She had a great passion for music and could often be found singing along with her favorite CD’s. Anyone who knew Loretta will remember her as a kind and gentle person who had a wonderful sense of humor. We will miss her deeply. A private service will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.comAFTERGLOWI’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
