MARTENS: Gerard Henry Martens passed away on Wednesday, March 1st, 2017 at the age of 95 years. Gerard, will lovingly be remembered by his wife, Antoinette, and children Dale Martens, Rita (Rick Szezepanski) Martens, Marlene Vanwynsberghe and Lorraine (Gary) Lippens. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, 327-4th Street, Brandon on Tuesday, March 7th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Prayers will be held prior to the service at 1:30 p.m. Donations in memory of Gerard may be made to Special Olympics Manitoba, 145 Pacific Ave. #304, Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2Z6 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 415-1st Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 2W8.
