ROSE: Donald Alexander Rose was born in Brandon on April 11, 1927. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, in his 90th year. Remaining to cherish Don's memory his loving wife Maxine, sons Rob (Barb Balanyk) and Ken (Susan), grandchildren Arthur (Leslie) and Elizabeth (Jordan) Koch, and his precious great-granddaughter Isabelle Koch. A Celebration of Don's Life will take place in the Kirkland Hall of the First Presbyterian Church, 339 - 12th Street, on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Arlene Robertson will officiate. A private graveside service will be held in the Brandon Cemetery at a later date following Don's last ride in "Rosie".
