MITCHELL: Irene Ruby. July 24, 1926 ~ April 2, 2017. Irene Ruby Mitchell passed away at Peter Lougheed Hospital on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the age of 90 years. She was the loving mother of Wayne Mitchell, Wendy Mitchell, Cathy (Ralph) Macleod all of Calgary, AB and Donald (Hazel) Mitchell of Winnipeg, MB. And will also be dearly missed by her eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Elsie Orkzus of Edmonton and many extended family members. She was predeceased by her husband Walter Lawrence Mitchell in July 2009, brothers Roy Taylor and Leslie Taylor, half-brothers Art Olson and Johnnie Olson and grandson Dustin in March 2015.
