WEDDERBURN: Joyce Dorothy Wedderburn of the Municipality of Riverdale, born April 17th, 1928, passed away peacefully on April 13th, 2017 at Riverdale Personal Care Home with her family by her side. Joyce Bradley married John Alexander Wedderburn in October of 1953 and together they raised 6 children. Doug (Shelley) of Sparwood B.C., Richard (Yvette) of Red Deer, AB. David, Bob, Betty (Alan) MacDonald, Les (Loree) all of Riverdale Municipality. There are 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Joyce was predeceased by Alex in August of 1973 and also a brother Gordon in 2011. She remained on the family farm until March of 2016 and became a resident of Riverdale Personal Care Home in November of 2016 which she considered home. The service for Joyce will be held at Tarbolton Church on Tuesday, April 18th at 2:00 P.M. Luncheon will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Rivers in the upper hall.
