PLETT:Passed away at the Wawanesa Personal Care Home on Wednesday April 12, 2017 at the age of 96 years, Helena "Ellen" Plett of Wawanesa MB. Ellen leaves to mourn her passing, her children Marian (Les) Plett, Shirley (Del) Friesen, Lillian (Ken) Weber, Luella (Leonard) Plett, Leroy (Sylvia) Plett, Eleanor (Rob) Reimer, & Ed (Val) Plett as well as 22 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Ellen was predeceased by her husband John, parents Cornelius & Susanna Plett, sisters Hulda & Dora, brother Archie as well as three siblings in childhood. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Treesbank Community Church, Treesbank MB, with John McMillan officiating. Following the service an interment will take place in the Millford Cemetery with a reception to follow in the Wawanesa Community Hall. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Ellen's memory to the Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Dr. Winnipeg MB, R3T 5K9.
