GOODEN: Evelyn “Mary” Gooden, of Brandon, beloved wife of the late George Kent Gooden, passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital, with family by her side, on Sunday, April 16, 2017, at the age of 95 years. The Funeral Service will be held at Central United Church, 327–8th Street, on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Milo Spooner Craig officiating. Interment will take place at the Brandon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Brandon University Foundation, 270–18th Street, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 6A9 or the Elspeth Reid Family Resource Centre, c/o Child & Family Services of Western Manitoba Foundation Inc., 255–9th Street, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 6X1.
