SAVILLE: Alton Alexander (Alex) Saville passed away June 2, 2017 at 58 years old after a courageous battle with Huntington's Disease. Although Alex died much too young, the healthy years he did have, he lived to the fullest. Alex spent the majority of his working life as a Power Engineer at the Keystone Centre. As a young strong farm boy he worked on the CP Railroad and in the oilfields of Alberta. Alex was an avid sportsman. He spent many hours fishing Willow Creek, playing hockey, baseball and golf. He coached his boys' hockey teams and cheered on many nieces and nephews in their sporting endeavors. Alex spent many Sunday afternoons playing a pick-up game of ball or hockey with family and friends, or out on the golf course. To remember Alex is his wife Janet, sons Matthew (Shana), Jimmy (Lindsey), stepsons Chuck and Ryan, grandchildren Nolan, Averley, Jeffrey, Raeleigh, Rorik, as well as Alex’s siblings Lynn, Billy (Carol), Sandy (Cam) and heaps of nieces and nephews. Alex will be reunited with his parents (Bill and Jo), two sisters, Jo-Ann and Colleen and good buddy Jim Zazulak. A time to visit and share memories will be held on July 21, 2017 at Frank and Ruby Rozak's backyard in Elkhorn, MB from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Donations may be made in Alex's memory to: Huntington's Society, 151 Frederick Street, Suite 400, Kitchener, Ontario, N2H 2M2. Messages of condolences may be placed at www.brockiedonovan.com
