CARTER-SQUIRE: Jeffrey Allan Carter-Squire. Surrounded by his wife and children, Jeff Carter-Squire passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. Jeff was born in Brandon, MB, on January 20, 1964, to loving parents Duane and Mona (Grigg) Carter-Squire. Family was very important to Jeff. His pride were his children, Caitlin (Jordan Henry) and Kyle (Taylor Branconnier), and step-daughter, Mikayla Harrison (Mark Zielonko), who meant the world to him. Jeff constantly bragged about their achievements and proudly shared pictures of them. He had a close and loving family and was always grateful to his parents, looked up to his brothers, Danny and John, and had a special love for his Aunt Denise and the cookies she baked for him. As soul-mates Jeff and his wife MaryAnne were inseparable from the moment they met. He was, and will always be the light and the love of her life. Jeff was fortunate to be blessed with many friends, he loved to make people laugh, to entertain, and to socialize, he was always there for others. He loved animals, his pets and fishing and golfing. Jeff possessed strong work ethics and enjoyed his job at MTS, where he spent over half of his life, always arriving hours before his shift would begin. Gone too soon, Jeff will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all those who knew him. His sense of humour, optimism, generosity and gentle spirit will live on in his children, Caitlin, Kyle and Mikayla. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Thank you to all of our friends and family who touched Jeffs life in any way and have extended their support, love and prayers to our family. Special thanks to Dr. Eschun and the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit Team at the St. Boniface Hospital for the outstanding compassion and care that Jeff and his family received during his brief stay.
