SEDDON: Brett Jason Seddon. Brett passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at home on July 14, 2017. Brett was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on March 6, 1974. He lived in Winnipeg with his parents, Art and Janice Seddon, and younger sister Candace, until 1986, when the family relocated to Brandon, Manitoba. Brett attended school at Voyageur School, in Winnipeg, and later at Fleming, Earl Oxford and J.R. Reid in Brandon, before completing and graduating from the Life Skills Program at Neelin High School in 1995. After school, Brett worked in the warehouse at Canadian Tire for some time before starting at Career Connections, where he worked assembling circuit boards. Brett met the love of his life, Hughena Alberta Morden (Clearwater), in Brandon in 2004. They were engaged on Christmas Day 2007, and they moved in together in Carman, Manitoba in July 2008. They lived together happily until Brett's untimely passing. Brett was passionate about many things in life, including WWF wrestling, video games, and the Brandon Wheat Kings. He enjoyed attending live wrestling events and often attended Wheat King games with his mother, cheering loudly for his favorite players, and giving the refs a hard time. Brett had an incredible head for statistics, and could share his knowledge of sports trivia with anyone who would listen. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and is remembered by his close friends for his teasing nature. Brett was very proud of his family. He missed his father, Art, who passed away in 2000, very dearly, and in accordance with his wishes, his ashes will be buried near to his Dad's. He was also proud of his new family, especially his god-daughter, Ashley Morden, whose graduation celebration he recently attended. It was a happy day with lots of smiles and dancing, and will provide good memories for those he has left behind. Brett is survived by and will be greatly missed by his mother Janice, sister Candace, fiancé Hughena, Uncle Ellis, as well as by Hughena's family and close family friends Philip and Wilma Bausman.
