ROLLINS: Dale Rollins passed away peacefully, with his loving wife of 56 years, Wilma, by his side at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Born to George and Min Rollins on the farm at Bede, Manitoba, Dale was third in a family of four: his sister Donna and husband Art Wilkins; sister Maxine (deceased) and husband Allan Bloomer and brother Durwood (deceased) and wife Marlene. Dale and Wilma became engaged 60 years ago on July 12, 1957 and they were married in 1961; Dale knew the joy of a long and happy married life. Welcomed by his mother and father-in-law, Abe and Ada Froese (deceased); his brothers-in-law Arnold and wife Gail Froese; Bob (deceased) and wife Marg Froese; his sister-in-law Maxine (husband, Ed Shamray, deceased); brother-in-law Bill and wife Bonnie Froese; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Visser, Brandon Home Care and the caring staff at the Palliative Care Unit, Assiniboine Centre. A Graveside Memorial Service was held in honour of Dale on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Reston Cemetery, Reston, Manitoba.
