CHAMBERS: Rosnah Livesey Chambers (Tattersall). Rosnah Chambers passed away with family at her side at Dinsdale Personal Care Home in Brandon, Manitoba on July 16, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Chambers in 2009 and her son Ronald Chambers (2017) earlier this year and her sister Muriel Carruthers in 2009. She leaves to mourn her passing her sons Larry (Carol), Ronald (deceased), Marlene, David (Donna) and Alex (Susan). As well nine grandchildren Larry, Shawn (Cecille), Bill, Nathan (Jodilyn), Lisa (Dan), Heather (David), Michelle, Amanda (Ken), Christopher and seventeen great-grandchildren Courtney, Dylan, Brendon, Karlyn, Maddie, Payton, Noah, Zoe, Kezia, Christopher, Connor, Caden, Autumn, Ryland, Edelawit, Abi and Quinn. As well as other extended family members in Canada and England as well as friends. Rosnah was born on November 19, 1919 on the family farm south of Austin, Manitoba. Her parents were Richard and Anne Tattersall. She grew up on the family farm except for a few years that the family spent in Rhode Island. When she got out of school she worked at housekeeping for families near Austin. After that she worked at several of the restaurants in and around Austin over the years. During this time she found the love of her life in 1941 her husband of 67 years Lawrence Chambers. During this time they lived in Vancouver, the Pine Creek area, Austin for most of her life and finally Brandon. In these years they raised their four sons and travelled across Canada from B.C. to Nova Scotia, and parts of the United States which included San Diego, California, Brownsville, Texas, and Nashville Tennessee and parts of Northern England. Lawrence and Rosnah also won the award for the best yard one year when still living in Austin. Pallbearers were Shawn Chambers, Larry Chambers, Christopher Chambers, Bill Chambers, Dan Martin and David Ewen and honourary pallbearer Nathan Chambers. Officiating was Shannon Bodnarchuk. We wish to thank all the staff at Dinsdale Person Care Home for their time, effort and support of our mother over the last few years that she resided with them. We also wish to thank Shannon Bodnarchuk for doing the service. As well as the staff at the Shady Lane Tea Room for doing the lunch and Memories Chapel for all their help.
