PHILIP: Mrs. Lois Yvonne Philip, age 84, formerly of Tilston, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Carberry on Monday, August 7, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband, Glen in 2015. Lois is survived by her two daughters, Patti (Lee Bourque) of Ponoka County, AB, and Yvonne (Richard) Desjardins of Carberry; son, Doug of Tilston; 5 grandchildren, James, Clinton (Kiana), Brant (Kaitlin), Tristan, and Kaylee; 3 great-grandchildren, Emmalea, Xavier, and Kyrie; sister, Fay Hewins of Brandon; sister-in-law, Bernie Barbour of Calgary. A service to celebrate Lois’ life will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Tilston Community Hall, Tilston, MB. Interment will take place at the Tilston Cemetery at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be given to the Tilston Cemetery Fund c/o Michelle Jones, Box 54, Tilston, MB, R0M 2B0.
