PITT: Robert Thomas passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Virden Hospital on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the age of 73 years. Robert will lovingly be remembered by his wife Margaret, children Jeff (Cindy) Pitt, Pat Pitt, Ray (Barb) McCoy, Gordon (Sharon) McCoy, Keith (Sheila) McCoy, Bob McCoy, Brian McCoy (Trish) and Bonnie (Greg) Fatteicher and brother Willis “Bill” (Helen) Pitt. A Celebration of Robert’s Life will be held at Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Brandon Cemetery. Donations in memory of Robert may be made to the Virden Pet Network, Box 925, Virden, MB, R0M 2C0 or the Brandon Humane Society, 2200 – 17th Street E., Brandon, MB, R7A 7M6.
