PITT: Robert Thomas Pitt passed away suddenly on August 29, 2017 at the age of 73. He was born on December 12th, 1943 in Moosomin , Saskatchewan to Thomas and Mary Pitt. Bob was the youngest of four children. He grew up in Lenore, Manitoba and moved to Brandon when he was 15 and attended school at BCI. He married and they had two children, Jeff and Pat. After his first marriage ended he met Margaret McCoy and her eight children from a previous marriage. They were together for ten years then married in 1983. He worked at Gulf Servico for 18 years, then pig farmed and did other various jobs until retirement. He lived in Hargrave Manitoba until his health declined, then resided in Virden, with his wife and daughter. He is survived by wife Margaret, son Jeff (Cindy), daughter Pat, stepchildren Ray (Barb) McCoy, Gordon (Sharon) McCoy, Keith (Sheila) McCoy, Bob McCoy, Brian McCoy (Trish) Bonnie (Greg) Fatteicher, 18 grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren, brother Bill (Helen) numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by mom ,dad, sisters, Patricia and Doreen, stepchildren Bernice and Dennis McCoy. Services were held on September 2, 2017 at Brockie Donovan, pallbearers were Ray McCoy, Gordon McCoy, Keith McCoy ,Sheldon McCoy, Chris Nelson, Greg Fatteicher. Interment was at the Brandon Cemetery.
