JOHNSTON: Leslie Gordon Johnston, Mar. 25, 1937 ~ Sept. 11, 2017Leslie Gordon Johnston was fourth son of Robert and Frances Johnston of Justice, Manitoba. Les was one of seven children raised on the farm at Justice MB, moving to Brandon, Snow Lake, and North Surrey in 1966 where he worked as an Eatons repairman until he retired and moved to Langley and eventually Rosedale in 2007. Les was predeceased by parents Robert and Frances Johnston, brothers Mel, Al and Bill, son Glenn, niece Melva and nephew Ron. He is survived by two of his three children, Angela of Weatherby UK and Justin Allan of Lethbridge; sisters Mame, Isobel; brother Don; grandson Les; and faithful Laura whose love and tender care greatly improved his quality of life which she shared with him to the end. Les was a wannabe farmer who raised beef and pork and had a wonderful garden and thriving egg business. He was a good guy and will be missed. A Celebration of Life will be held in December.
