SEATER: Edmund White Seater, August 3, 1933-September 19, 2017. On Tuesday, September 19, 2017, Mr. Edmund (Ed) White Seater of Osoyoos, BC passed away peacefully after a long illness at Sunnybank Centre in Oliver at the age of 84 years. He was predeceased by his parents George and Hilda Seater; son Christopher Seater; sister Elaine Cartlidge and mother and father-in-law Herb and Jean Skinner, brothers-in-law Harvey Whelpton, Leslie Skinner, James Cartlidge and Gordon Cook. Ed will be fondly remembered by his loving family including wife Dorothy; daughter Carla (Chuck) Elliott and their sons Hewson and Lyndon; daughter-in-law Lynn Seater and her son Adam Seater; daughter Cali; daughter Jenna (Jeff) Anderson and daughter Erin; son Cameron (Laura) Adams and their sons Jon and Brennan; sister Shirley Whelpton and her sons Ryan (Sherri) Whelpton and family and Dale Whelpton and his sons Luke and Clarke; sister Beverley (Robert) Moore and their daughter Shelagh (Michael); sister Marilyn (Tosh) Sakakibara; nephew Dwayne Cook and family, niece Shawna Cook (Bruce Bennet and family) and sister-in-law Norma Wiltsey (Russell) and family. Ed was a long time and well known farmer, and pure bred Charolais breeder, owning ED-C-Dor Farms in Rivers, MB. October 28, 2017 a graveside urn interment will be held at 12:00 P.M. at the Ancrum Cemetery followed by a Remembrance Luncheon at the Rivers Legion Hall at 1:00 P.M. to welcome and thank friends and family with special memories of Ed and the reacquaintance of friends and family.Condolences and tributes may be directed to the family by visiting www.nunes-pottinger.com
