PURDY: Frances of Shoal Lake, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Morley House of Shoal Lake Personal Care Home at the age of 81 years. Frances is survived by her daughter Della (Lyle) Purdy-Gilchrist of Minnedosa, Son Dwight Purdy of Shoal Lake, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and brother Art (Patti) May of Strathclair. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from the St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Shoal Lake with The Venerable Dr. Kevin Goodrich O.P., The Rev. Cheryl Kukurudz, and the Bishop of Brandon, The Right Rev. William Cliff, D.D. officiating. Interment will follow in the Shoal Lake Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Shoal Lake.
