MOORE: Maxine Moore, born March 27, 1947 passed away peacefully at the Assiniboine Centre on Friday, November 10, 2017 at the age of 70 years. Maxine was born and raised in Brandon and worked at various jobs: including office reception, customer service and retail positions. She was predeceased by her parents Bob and Rita Cassan; her first husband Neil McKellar; sister and brother-in-law Pat and Jim Randall. Maxine is survived by her husband George Moore; niece Lori, her husband Aaron and children Ryan and Caitlin Lennon as well as other nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to acknowledge the compassion and care of the doctors and nursing staff at the Brandon Regional Health Centre and the palliative care unit at the Assiniboine Centre. In keeping with Maxine’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200-17th Street East, Brandon, MB, R7A 7M6 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Unit 3-2430 Victoria Avenue, Brandon, MB, R7B 0M5.
