SLOAN: Nicholas Pierson Sloan passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the age of 35 years. Nick was born in Brandon, MB on September 26, 1982. Nick attended St. Augustine’s School as well as Crocus Plains High School. Nick worked for many years as a support worker for Family Visions. He was dedicated to helping others and enjoyed his work. Nick had many joys in his life. Being a great father to his son Liam was Nick’s greatest accomplishment, loving Liam more than anything. Nick had a love for hockey. He was a fervent fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Nick was predeceased by his father William Sloan and grandfather Leonard Forbes. Left to cherish Nick’s memory are his son Liam, mother Becky Sloan, sister Krystle Sloan, grandmother Barb Forbes and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A Celebration of Nick’s Life will be held at Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.Messages of condolencemay be placed atwww.brockiedonovan.com
