OWEN: Carl Percival Owen, husband to Lois, died November 17, 2017 at Bayside Personal Care Home, Killarney, Manitoba after a lengthy illness. Carl was born in Arcola, Saskatchewan on September 7, 1939. He was a truck driver salesman for Coca-Cola, then drove for Tims Transfer, McArthurs, Motorways Smooth Mover, then Gardewine North, until for health reasons had to take early retirement in 1999. Carl leaves to mourn his son Rodney (Marlene) grandsons, Carter and Griffin, daughter Wanda (Bruce) son Randy, grandson R.J., granddaughter Jayden, also his dear sister Lillian (Wilbert-deceased) and family, sister-in-law Audrey Owen and family and his brother David. He was predeceased by sister Thelma Davidson (George), brothers Bill and Alvin, as well as his parents Percy and Rosetta. A memorial service will be held Monday, November 27, 2017 at Wheatland Chapel, Killarney, Manitoba at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date at Rosewood Cemetery, Brandon, Manitoba.
