YANCHYCKI: Walter Frank Yanchycki of Killarney and formerly of Shoal Lake passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Bayside Personal Care Home in Killarney at the age of 87 years. Frank was predeceased by his wife Phyllis and his son Vernon. He is survived by his son Glen (Joey) Yanchycki of The Pas; daughters Sheila (Jeff) Hagyard of Killarney and Patti (Darrell) Sahli of Penhold, Alberta. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Helen’s Roman Catholic Church, Shoal Lake. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Fr. Rene Katcha Digba will officiate. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or the MS Society.Rae’s Funeral Service of Shoal Lake and Erickson are in care of the arrangements.
