ATKINSON: Arthur “Art” Atkinson passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the age of 83 years. Art will lovingly be remembered by his wife Bernice and children Brian, Gary and Cindy. A Celebration of Art’s Life will be held at Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Harvey Hurren officiating. Donations in memory of Art may be made to Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation “Palliative Care”, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3 and Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB), 354-10th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 4G1.
