SHADLOCK: Doreen Gladys Shadlock (née Betson) passed away peacefully at the Valleyview Personal Care Home on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the age of 93 years. She was born on October 11, 1924. Doreen was predeceased by her husband, Joe on January 14, 2011. Doreen leaves to mourn her loving children; daughters Diane (Dan Corcoran) and Jo-Ann (Denis Rouire); and son David (Shirley) Shadlock. Doreen is survived by nine grandchildren; Craig Richardson (Carla), Darren Richardson (Tammy), Keith Richardson (Jamie), Jill Brown (Chris), Scott Rouire (Jill), Chris Rouire (Marla), Nicole Smith (Robert), Amanda Shadlock and Wade Shadlock (Tai) as well as 14 great grandchildren. Doreen will lovingly be remembered for her many meals she prepared for family and friends. She enjoyed many hobbies: dancing, reading, playing cards, ceramics and photography. Doreen and Joe loved to travel and had many stories to tell of their travels. As per Mom’s wishes a private family service will be held at a later date.
