MUSTARD: On Monday, March 19, 2018, Lorne Gordon Mustard, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Lorne was born October 2, 1949 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He was a joker, a gamer, a computer nerd before Sheldon and Leonard made them popular and a scrabble player extraordinaire. He was an avid fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, but would cheer for any CFL team who had a good game. A teacher, both in high school and in life, Lorne took the Get Better Together program to heart, and became involved as a leader, then a leader-trainer. Believing in all the good a quality organization can accomplish, Lorne was a proud Rotarian. Most of all he was Jeanne's best friend. He had lost so much of himself these past few months and was blessed with a peaceful passage to a place where medical interventions don't rule your day. Lorne leaves to mourn his wife Jeanne; sons Trevor (partner Michele Miller, Abby and Beth), Brian (partner Stephanie Loran), Shawn (wife Angie, Aidan, Damien and Liam); daughter Judy (husband Andrew Bray); Jeanne's children Michael Yuen (partner Amy Rempel) and Shannon (husband Don Pryznyk); brother Ross, and his children Kyle and Kristine. Lorne was predeceased by his parents George and Gladys and brother Kevin. The Celebration of Lorne's Life will take place at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, Brandon, on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Joe Ball officiating. A reception will follow. Donations in memory of Lorne may be made to the Brandon Rotary Club Westman Foundation Inc., 3360 Victoria Avenue, PO Box 21041, Brandon, Manitoba R7B 3W8, the Daly House Museum, 122-18th Street, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 5A4, or a charity of choice.
