RITCHIE: March 15, 2018 Beatrice Ritchie (nee Pue) went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ following a lengthy illness. Beatrice was predeceased by her parents Samuel Pue and Mary Pue (Stothard), brother David Pue, sisters Violet Gatehouse and Gladys Pue, granddaughter-in-law Destiny Hofman, grandson Raymond Hofman and Alan Ritchie, her husband of 67 years. Beatrice is survived by her sister Kathleen Antrobus, daughter Marilyn Smith (Doug), son Douglas Ritchie (Leanna), son Philip Ritchie (Claudia), 9 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. As a young girl, Beatrice placed her faith and trust in Jesus Christ, believing that her sins were forgiven and her eternal home would be in heaven. After graduation from Brandon College, Beatrice took her first teaching job in Winnipeg, where she met Alan. A faithful wife and mother, Beatrice showed kindness and hospitality throughout the years. She was quiet, dignified and kept a careful well organized home. Her wisdom and insight were appreciated by all who knew her. The family wishes to thank the staff of Fairview Home in Brandon, MB for the care they have given Mom over the years. A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Gospel Hall, 1412-22nd Street, Brandon. All are welcome to the service.
