There is nothing sweeter than the gift of a true friend.SORENSON: Shirley Evelyn Sorenson, (63). It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley, daughter of Arthur Christ Sorenson and Myrtle Nita Sorenson on Sunday, March 25th, 2018 at Brandon Hospital. Shirley is survived by her loving husband Robert Ohrling, her six adored children Damien and Heather Grace, Steven and Allie, Melanie and Robbie Sorenson-Ohrling. Her precious grandchildren Brandon, Kurtis, Joseph and Ileana and her favourite feline companion Christmas. Other family include her siblings Douglas (deceased), Gloria and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Shirley was a wonderful friend, co-worker and devout animal lover. She loved losing herself in her crime and game shows when not busying herself with knitting or baking. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Shirley’s honour to local no kill animal shelters. A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held at a later date. Please contact a family member for more information.
