ROBINSON: Lloyd Bud Alexander passed away at Souris Personal Care Home on April 17, 2018 with his family by his side. Lloyd was born February 6, 1932 in Souris to Alex and Alice Robinson. The family resided in Alexander with Bud building his welding shop which was later destroyed by fire. He then moved to Virden and operated Lloyds Welding for a number of years and also farmed south of Alexander. The family enjoyed their cottage at Oak Lake Beach. In his later years he enjoyed his Percheron horses which he showed with his family at a number of fairs over the years. One of his proudest achievements was being inducted into the Horsemens Hall of Fame at the Virden Indoor Rodeo. Lloyd will be remembered by his four children, Leslie (Glen), Lawrence (Marguerite), Tannis (Rick) and Shelley (Wes); grandchildren Jodie, Carla, Robyn, Carmen, Colin and Cole; and great-grandchildren Dylan, Wyatt, Hayden and Shiloh. Lloyd is also survived by his sister Donna Durston and brother Gordon (Eleanor) Robinson.
