GILBERT: Alison Gilbert 1987-2018. With heavy hearts, the family wish to announce the passing of Alison Patricia Gilbert of Redvers, SK on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 31 years. Alison is predeceased by her Grandpa Hugh Gilbert. Left to cherish many fond memories are her parents William and Janet Gilbert; sisters, Heather (Steven) George and their children Jack and Chloe and Katy (Derek) Soroka and their children Elizabeth and David. Alison will be greatly missed by her grandparents Maureen Gilbert and Archie and Anne Mitchell as well as her extended family members and her Activity Centre family. A Celebration of Alison’s Life will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Redvers Activity Centre, Redvers, SK with Sandy Dalziel officiating. A lunch will follow the celebration. Alison’s family has asked that brightly colored clothing be worn to this celebration, as Alison loved bright colors. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alison’s memory may be made to the Redvers Activity Centre, Box 418, Redvers, SK S0C 2H0 or the Regina General Hospital, MICU, 1440-14 Ave., Regina, SK S4P 0W5.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Redvers, SK.
