CHOPEK: Robert “Bob” Chopek passed away suddenly on December 13, 2017 at the age of 63 years. Bob was born on February 13, 1954 to Roberta and David Chopek, in Gimli, Manitoba. The family moved to Brandon in 1961 where Bob finished school. After graduation he found various jobs and never married. Bob was predeceased by his mother Roberta in 2015. He is survived by his father David, and brother Steve. A graveside service will be held at Brandon Cemetery on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Those that wish to attend may join the funeral procession departing from Brockie Donovan Funeral Home, 332-8th Street at 1:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 4B-457-9th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 4A9.
