McSYMACH: Peter McSymach of Sandy Lake, Manitoba passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Minnedosa Health Centre at the age of 86 years. Peter was predeceased by his wife Veronica (Verna) and is survived by his children: Wes (Margaret) of Elphinstone, Darlene (Bill) Tullis of Benito, Sandra McSymach (Jamie Robinson), Ken (Jorganne) and Glen (Laura) all of Brandon and their families. Also surviving are 2 brothers: Leo (Sonia) of Brandon, and Rudy (Josie) of Winnipeg, sisters: Jean Derhak of Winnipeg, Sonia (Matt) Dutchak of Brandon and Sylvia (Murray) Matiowsky of Winnipeg. A private family grave service was held at the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Horod. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Horod Cemetery Fund. Rae’s Funeral Service of Shoal Lake and Erickson were in care of the arrangements.
