FRIESEN: Jim Friesen, age 80 died June 10, 2018 at Boissevain Health Centre, Boissevain, Manitoba. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Colleen, daughter Kim, grandchildren Jack and Emily, daughter Cathie (Derek) grandchildren Eric, Evan and Amy, daughter Angela (Bill) grandchildren Jennifer, Alexa and Cooper, and daughter Jessica. Jim was predeceased by his daughter Patti. Jim loved his grandchildren immensely and was so proud to be part of their many achievements. He also loved die cast tractors which he shared with everyone by displaying them around the house. The Toronto Blue Jays were another great interest to Jim. He was a dedicated fan until the very end. Jim will always be remembered by his family and the community for his knack of telling great stories. In accordance with Jim’s wishes cremation has taken place and private family interment will be held at the Boissevain Cemetery at a later date.
