ROY: Mr. Daniel Roy died peacefully at home on Monday, June 18, 2018 in London, Ontario at the age of 48 years. Daniel is survived by his partner Annette Brownscombe, his parents Rob and Marie Roy of Brandon, Manitoba, his brother Joel Roy (Paula Schmick) and their children Kayde and Jace of Carstairs, Alberta, and his sister Monique Roy-Keller (Richard Keller) and their children Ruby and Rhodes of Brandon, Manitoba. Also surviving are dear friends Olga and Boris Chudnovsky. Daniel was born on June 15, 1970 in Brandon, Manitoba to Rob and Marie Roy. He graduated from Brandon University in 1992, and then continued his education through correspondence. After working in Northern Saskatchewan as a teacher, he moved to Minden, Ontario and worked as a clinical therapist in Peterborough, Ontario with Peterborough Youth Services. Daniel was also a beloved student of the Late Venerable Namgyal Rinpoche. He spent time working and practicing at the Dharma Centre of Canada. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Augustine’s Church, 327-4th Street, Brandon, on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Kelly Wilson as Celebrant.
