DEMPSEY: Marion (née Burgess). It is with deep sadness that the family of Marion Dempsey announces her peaceful passing on Friday, July 13, 2018 at the age of 95 years. Marion will be lovingly remembered by her children Lynne (Ted) Jablonski, Marion Samuels and Margaret (Neil) Riehl; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; beloved dog, Bitsy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Marion was predeceased by her husband, Murray; 9 brothers and sisters; and son-in-law Rodney Samuels. Marion will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial donations in Marion’s name may be made to Hospice at The Views, c/o Comox Valley Health Care Foundation, 2137 Comox Ave., Comox, BC V9M 1P2. A private family service will be held at a later date. Family would like to thank Dr. Bell, Dr. Brailey and the staff at the Hospice for their loving care.
