SPARROW: Heaven opened its gate and welcomed a beautiful person into its midst, Ena Regina Sparrow (née Kandall) born in Rossendale, MB passed away peacefully in Brandon, MB on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the age of 87. Ena was the beloved mother of Bob (Barb), Joanna (Stu), Sandra (Ken) and Cathy. Ena was a grandmother to six grandchildren and one great grandchild - Derek, Samantha, Jon, Sara, Chad, Madison, and Mila. Ena is survived by her two brothers Sandy (Gloria) and Art (Lynn). She was predeceased by her ex-husband Ed. She was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters - Ken, Lisa, John and Irja. Ena was a vibrant independent woman who enjoyed life to the fullest. Her love of curling and gardening gave her great joy. Though her greatest joy was her family and we will miss her. The family wants to acknowledge Hillcrest Personal Care Home for all the love and care they gave to Mom. We invite you to join the family for a Celebration of Life lunch that will take place on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Victoria Inn, Brandon, MB. Time (TBA).
