ROWAN: With her family by her side, Sheila Violet Rowan passed away suddenly at home on Friday, September 14, 2018. Born June 9, 1965, Sheila grew up in Roblin, Manitoba where she received her elementary and high school education. Following graduation, Sheila attended ACC in Brandon studying Business Administration. She was employed at the Provincial Building in Minnedosa until 2006 prior to working at the Brandon Research Centre. Family was especially important to Sheila and she loved spending time together and going on vacations. She also enjoyed nights out with her close friends, and lots of shopping! Sheila will be lovingly remembered by her husband Barry; children Alissa (Dilan) Johnston and Chad; mother Doreen Mench; sister Debbie Koss (Wilbert), niece Nicole Junkin (Kyle), great niece Elizabeth, great nephew Waylon; sister Pam Gunchoski (Jason), nieces Brittany, Danielle, Madison and Hannah; brother Tom Gunchoski (Cathy), nieces Kya and Callie; sister-in-law Bev Miller, niece Lindsay Miller, great niece Madison Miller, nephew Derek Miller (Rachel), nieces Blakely and Tenley, nephew Jett. She was predeceased by her father Stanley Gunchoski and step-dad Edgar Mench. The Celebration of Sheila's Life took place at Memories Chapel on Friday, September 21, 2018. Mike Waddell officiated.
