JEWELL: Coreen Audrey (nee Adolph). Join us in saying a loving farewell to Coreen, who was born in Kipling, Saskatchewan on December 3, 1937, and who left us on October 1, 2018, slipping quietly away in her sleep. Devoted wife of Ralph Jewell, sister to Maxine Werner and Donna Pahl, mother to Ken Omilanow, Carole Anderson, Sandra Roy, Sharon Robinson and their families, grandmother to twelve and great grandmother to fourteen lovely children, Coreen was loved by close and extended family, and was friend to many. Coreen was long passionate about the art of running a happy home, whether on the farm or in town gardening, preserving, cooking, baking, and sewing. She had a good sense of humour, a lively and easy laugh, and a keen sense of curiosity. Coreen loved singing and dancing, cuddling babies, horses, and golfing. She welcomed all family and family newcomers into her circle and was well loved in return. She will be sadly missed, and very fondly remembered. Many thanks to Dr. David Cram and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the Souris Hospital for the care, compassion, and support provided to Coreen and her family. A celebration of Coreen's life will be held at St. Paul's United Church in Souris, Manitoba, on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, 11:00 a.m. Private interment at Rosewood Memorial Gardens, Brandon, Manitoba. In memory of Coreen, donations may be made to the Souris Health Centre Palliative Care Fund, c/o Prairie Mountain Health, Box 10, Souris, Manitoba R0K 2C0.
