BRUCE: It is with sadness that the family shares the peaceful passing of Doug Bruce, age 70, on October 12, 2018 at the Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, BC. Doug was born in Brandon, MB on April 12, 1948. Doug and Cheryl were married for 45 years, and moved family to White Rock area 1982. Doug was active in his community and was always busy with kids, sports and many community activities. Doug continued with his love of sports, playing hockey and golf and he loved Pebble Beach! Doug loved animals and he and his family fostered dogs and had a number of them as family over the years. Until his health did not permit Doug was a regular attendee at the Boys of Brandon luncheons. Doug was a loving father and he leaves to mourn his three children, Tyler (Mahadvi), Kylie (Karl) and Stephen (Chrissy). He also leaves a much loved grandchild Keirnan.
