HOCKLEY: Born October 18, 1946 in Brandon, Manitoba, William (Bill) Hockley passed away November 18, 2018 at the age of 72 years at Fairview Personal Care Home. Bill grew up in the east end of Brandon. In his younger years, Bill was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener. Bill was a certified plumber and worked at various plumbing jobs during his working life. He is survived by his brother Jim (Janice) of Brandon, Manitoba, sister-in-law Linda of Halifax, Nova Scotia, nieces Sarah (Ryan) Campbell, Karen of Pritchard, British Columbia, nephews Rob (Alyssa) of Moosomin, Saskatchewan, Harley (Melinda) of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and five great nephews. He was predeceased by his father Fredrick, mother Joan and brother, Gordon. A Celebration of Bills Life was held at the George Brockie Fellowship Centre on November 27, 2018. Celebrant was Arlene Robertson. A private family interment took place prior to the service at the Brandon Cemetery.
