LEWIS: Mrs. Dorothy May Lewis of Melita, passed away at the Melita PCH on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the age of 101. Dot is lovingly remembered by her four children: son Gerald (Diane) Lewis,  Marcie (Ken) Greenley, children Kierra (daughter Neveah), Dilan and Lucas, Rhonda (Eddie) Rink, children Kaelei, Kendal, Kristin, stepchildren Holly (Jon) Birnie (daughter Lennon), Kyle, and Tanner,  daughter, Blythe (Marcus) Shnitka,  Jennifer (Jake) Ewasiuk, children Evered and Ethan, Holly (Norm) Baril, children Ava and Parker, Michael (Dariene), daughter Annabelle,  daughter, Colleen (Ray) Smithson, Dallas,  Meredith (Evan) Willcock, children Dia and Brynn, daughter Marilyn (Bill) Holden, Evan (Dana), children Liam and Nathan, Jason (Alicia), son Lane, Lisa (Jason) Bird, children Charleigh and Karter, also brother Murray Stewart (Margaret), two sisters-in-law, Kae Boyd, Mary Lewis and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Clive in 2012, parents, Russell and May Stewart, parents-in-law, Evan and Catherine Lewis, sister Georgina Bawtinhimer (Joe), sister-in-law Gwen Lewis, five brothers-in-law, Pryce Lewis (Erma), Frank Lewis, Dean Lewis, Alfred Lewis and Mel Boyd. A service to celebrate Dot’s life will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Victoria United Church, Melita, MB, with (Rev.) Heather Sandilands officiating. Interment at the Medora Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be given to the Melita Health Centre PCH Activities, Box 459, Melita, MB, R0M 1L0 or to the charity of your choice.
