DZOGAN: Surrounded by the love of his family, Dave Dzogan passed away at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg on January 16th, 2019, in his 95th year. Left to treasure the memories of this kind, gentle man are his wife of 70 years, Olive, son Ken (Leslie), daughter Jan (Les Jennings), daughter Sandy, grandson Ted (Sharla), and granddaughter Colleen. Big Grampa Dave will be missed by great-grandchildren Edan, Aleena and Kane. Dave was predeceased by his brothers and is survived by his sister-in-law Marie Dzogan, brother-in-law Ed Kustra (Lil), and numerous nieces and nephews. Dave was an instructor at Assiniboine Community College from 1966 until his retirement in 1990, teaching automotive mechanics, economics, mathematics and developing curriculum. He was a long-serving executive member of the North American Association of College Automotive Teachers. After retirement, Dave and Olive moved to Winnipeg. Throughout his life, Dave had many interests (woodworking, winemaking, computers, genealogy, the Jets, the Bombers, the news, and listening to music) and he could fix or build anything. He was also a proud 25-year member of the Reh-Fit Centre. Dave and Olive enjoyed travelling (road trips, cruises and Europe). A family celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice. We will miss you always and love you forever. Good-night, my love. Thank you, Dad.
