ROSE: Stella Ann Rose, August 6, 1924-March 31, 2019. Stella Ann (Mazie) Rose of Killarney, Manitoba, beloved wife of the late Lorne Rose, passed away on March 31, 2019 at the age of 94. She is lovingly remembered by her sons Bill (Pam) and Ken (Diane), grandchildren Lindsay, Peter, Elizabeth (Paden) and Kathleen (Mike), great grandchildren Cache and Wynn, sisters-in-law Jean Mazier, Marion Ferri and brother-in-law Al Leinweber, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Peter and Cathleen Mazier, husband Lorne in 2002, daughter Lorna in 2005 and siblings Jean, Mary, Michael, Julia and Nicholas. Mazie was born in Justice, Manitoba. After attending Normal School she taught in Manson, Manitoba where she met and later married Lorne Rose in 1946. They spent many happy years raising their family in Killarney and after their retirement, at their winter home in Tempe, Arizona. Mazie was a devoted mom, granny and great granny. She loved to cook, was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards with her friends. The family would like to thank all who helped mom over the past few years, enabling her to stay in her own home. As per her wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Killarney Cemetery.
