TEGG: Brian "Wayne", 1951-2019. Wayne passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre surrounded by his loved ones. Wayne will be remembered for his kind sense of humour and his smile. Wayne was born in Brandon, Manitoba to Carl and Marion Tegg. He grew up on the North Hill, in an area formerly known as "Teggville", with his parents and three brothers Dave, Barry and Alvin "Butch". Wayne enjoyed sports - he loved playing hockey in his younger years and later he fell in love with golf! He loved golfing with his "Golfing Buddies" that you could usually find on the fairway all season. His happiness came from enjoying the lives of his three children; Clinton (Carrie) Tegg of Brandon, Jared (Amanda) Tegg of Minnedosa and Dreena (Jordan) Froese of Rivers. One of Wayne's greatest achievements, he always told people, was having kids! He loved being a dad. Wayne enjoyed working from 1972-2007 in Operations at Dryden Chemical Plant, which later became Canexus. In his retirement years he was always out and about visiting friends and family. In accordance with Wayne's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Come and Go Reception was held on March 25, 2019 in Brandon, Manitoba that was well attended by his closest friends and loved ones. Thank you to those who have been so kind and generous with flowers, food and beautiful cards. You have brightened our spirits. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne's memory may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, Emergency Room, 150 McTavish Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3.
