MORRISON:On April 8, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer, we sadly said goodbye to our son, Kevin Richard Morrison. Kevin was born on October 28, 1979 in Brandon, MB. He attended Fleming, Earl Oxford and graduated from Crocus Plains. When Kevin was young he enjoyed playing in Brandon Youth Hockey and baseball. Many of his younger days were spent at the West End Community Centre where he and his friends would meet. Kevins work career went from part time at Safeway on 10th Street to working at McKenzie Seeds and his last career being Warehouse Manager at Custom Truck Sales. Kevin was an avid Sports Fan. He was a huge Oilers fan and loved the Green Bay Packers and the Cleveland Indians. He enjoyed golfing in the Monday night mens league at GlenLea Golf Course, curling in the Sunday morning Off-Ice league at Riverview Curling Club and playing pool at the ANAF. He was especially happy when he bought his new home in Meadowbrook Village where he said he was 47 steps from the 15th tee box at GlenLea. Kevin had many friends and was always ready to lend a helping hand when needed. He had a smile that would light up any room! If you made a friend with Kevin, you had a friend for life! Kevin leaves to mourn his mom and dad, Beth and Ric, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gwen and Glenn Eggert and family of Flin Flon, MB, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and special friend, Jennifer Mann. Kevin was predeceased by his wife, Loree in 2006, his grandparents, Joe and Donna Morrison and John and Alice Hardy (Summers). A graveside service was held at the Brandon Cemetery on April 15th followed by a Celebration of Life at the Riverview Curling Club. The Urn Bearers were Troy Laluk and Scott Hardy, who are cousins of Kevins but were always more like brothers. A special thank you to Dr. Tegg, Dr. E. Moller, Dr. Donohoe, Dr. Donaleshen, BRHC staff of 300, Westman Cancer Care and Palliative Care for their excellent care and compassion during Kevins journey.ALWAYS REMEMBERED ~ ALWAYS LOVED!
