OMELJANOW: Gertrude "Gertie" Omeljanow, age 82 years, wife of the late Paul Omeljanow, mother to Marie, Wendy, Paul and Cindy, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Friday, May 24, 2019 with family by her side. The Celebration of Gertie's Life and Funeral Liturgy will take place at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Christopher Dubois of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church as Celebrant. Committal Service will follow at the Brandon Cemetery Columbarium. In recognition of the excellent care she received on A2 and A3 at the Assiniboine Centre, the family would appreciate donations in memory of Gertie be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation for Palliative Care, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3.
