ROSE: With sadness, we announce the passing of our mom Lois Marie Rose, May 24, 2019. Mom was deeply loved by her children Kathryn (Rick) Svistovski, Colleen (Mike) Svistovski, Scott Rose, Greg Rose, and Allyson (Greg) Workman; granddaughters Kaitlyn Svistovski (Nick Hunter), Megan (Justin) Foster, Rachel Svistovski (Nick Onischuk), Anna (Duane) Latimer, Kelsey (Tristan) Schneider, Kelly Svistovski, Jill (Russell) Levandoski, Taylor (Kelsey) Sunaert, Jaimie Rose and great-grandchildren Beckett, Nora, Stephen, Sienna, Maddex, Frances, Jack, Everett, and Declan. Mom is lovingly remembered by her sister and brother-in-law Joanne and Bob McGregor and family of Winnipeg, sisters-in-law Shirley Rose and Anne Rose of Brandon, daughter-in-law Brenda Rose of Brandon and nieces and nephews of Brandon, Ontario, and the U.S. She was predeceased by her parents Harry and Kathryn Miles, her in-laws Mac and Mary Rose, brother-in-law Allan Rose, sister-in-law Margy Chapman and our beloved dad, Bob. Mom was born August 3, 1933, in Prince Albert, SK. The family later moved to Flin Flon, MB where Mom graduated high school. Mom and Dad met at the University of Manitoba and married in December, 1956. Together they raised a family and created a wonderful home on the farm in Bunclody, MB. Mom sang, played the piano and flute, enjoyed painting, golfing, curling, gardening, and travelling. Mom was a gracious and loved friend and neighbor, and a loving and caring mother. She will be deeply missed. We are very grateful to Dr. S. White and Dr. C. Gray for their compassionate care, the staff at Victoria Landing for their support during Mom’s time there, and, to Gail and staff at Daughter On Call, especially, the staff at Freeman Estate for their loving care.
